Kitty MATCH REPORT 15th NOVEMBER- ILKLEYHands on President![]() Pictured above
helping with ground improvements at Old Crocs is the new president Graham Thomas. Graham has succeeded Bill Bradley who served the club well for the past 14 years. Bill played junior rugby league before his Old Crocs career as scrum half and hooker which stretched from 1961 to 1980. Graham is also a lifelong Old Croc progressing through the ranks to achieve 337 first team games as a fearsome tight head prop forward. In Graham's latter years he played for Old Brods Vets and even guested in this years "tour of Spain". The Thomas tradition is carried on by both Graham's sons,Mark and Richard playing first team at Old Crocs. The new president is relishing his new challenge following Bill's successful reign. WORK ON BROOMFIELDMany
thanks to all those who helped on Saturday's "tidying up" session at
Broomfield. Mr president led from the front but sadly there are no
pictures of his tree climbing exploits with chainsaw in hand! We are
reassured though by Graham's statement that it is the only time he will
be seen in shorts this season. Thanks to Whealey for organising the
lads. It really is a case of many hands make light work. There will be
another session in the next few weeks when we aim to paint the posts
and complete the strimming. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
